A residential buliding in Shanghai collapsed



This is a typical problem of China. This is not the first time.

how could it collapse? winds? or some earthquake tremors?
singapore makes it a point to have deep foundations because of potential damage from earthquakes... prolly (sorry for the stereotype) the quality of foundation is not as good in china... or less effort done because of the massive construction boom in the country?

It's because they didn't build it properly. In another word, if they built it properly, they would have spent more money and got less profit.
